From Myron Cohen to Rita Rudner, Jewish jokesters
have had a disproportionate influence on 20th century American
comedy. Mark Levy will present the development of Jewish comedy
in America over the last hundred years, with his own humorous
spin. Hear and see vintage recordings and clips and learn why
and how Jews have made us laugh for a hundred years. This program
was spawned just over a year ago in the Catskills of NY where
many of those Jewish comics got their start.
