Sacred Nature fosters ecologically sustainable, spiritually connected
living. Modalities for achieving this include private sessions, educational
courses, workshops, community dialogues, rituals, concerts, nature
journeys, and retreats.
Spiritual Ecology is an experiential understanding
of interdependency of all beings with a compassionate, unifying Divine
consciousness that
informs us of ways to heal and sustain ourselves, our communities,
and our planet.
We are located in Port Townsend, a culturally
vibrant Victorian seaport perched on the Straits of Juan De Fuca
in the rain
shadow of Washington’s
Olympic Mountains. Through the ongoing stewardship by many, our Olympic
Peninsula is blessed with significant biological diversity and wilderness
reserves. In January 2007, Sacred Nature established our base of operations
in the Azaya Wellness Center overlooking a wildlife-rich marsh pond.
Coursework at Sacred Nature is focused on integration of spiritual
wisdom teachings, holistic sciences, and many forms of creative expression.
Our engaging faculty includes educators, artisans, counselors, and
spiritual leaders. Experiential learning, relationship building,
transforming understanding into application, and celebration through
creative expression
are at the heart of our philosophy.
